Meet Courtney Regan

Travel Advisor Courtney Regan has a love for South America, a passion for giving back, and a flourishing travel business, Courtney Regan Travel. Though her love of travel and philanthropy has always been engrained in her, it wasn’t initially her career. She began as a marketing professional and even worked on the marketing team for one of the world’s top clothing companies.

After a fantastic trip to South America, she started rethinking her profession and began researching careers in the travel industry. One conversation led to another, and she soon met a seasoned travel professional who told her about Brownell Travel. Shortly after that, she entered Class 7 of Brownell’s Mentoring Program. What steps did you take to change careers?

While the transition was fast, I definitely did my homework. I talked to several people in the business, evaluated the financial risk, tried my best to understand the landscape, gained the support of those closest to me and took a leap of faith!

How did you find and end up choosing Brownell?

A family friend introduced me to Clark Kotula who represents luxury boutique hotels in South America. He has been in the business for several years and knows the best, and he recommended Brownell. I chose Brownell because of the strength of their mentoring program. No other agency offers anything like this, and I wanted the support while I learned.
