The 2019 Brownell Academy was a huge success! With nearly 300 Brownell and supplier attendees, our time in Atlanta was well spent learning, networking, and having fun. Get a look at this special meeting below.

Themed “Brownell Beyond”, this year’s Academy was all about looking to the future. Brownell has rich history that set our foundation, but we must look ahead to how we will carry Brownell’s legacy forward.
Opening Session & Keynote Address from Brownell CEO Troy Haas
Academy started on a Thursday with four in-depth training sessions with supplier partners followed by a dinner for our Independent Advisors and the Hosting team. Friday morning kicked off with a special session for Independent Advisors before the rest of the Brownell team arrived for Brownell CEO & President Troy Haas’s General Session keynote. During his presentation, members of the Brownell Leadership Team awarded MVPs to both the Brownell team and our supplier partners. The MVP (“Most Valuable Player”) awards to go people who have exhibited our core values of passion, integrity, graciousness, innovation, and excellence.
Friday Cocktail Party
After General Session, there were three workshop sessions focused on business development, technology, marketing, and industry trends, followed by a Networking Tradeshow with supplier partners. To cap off Friday, everyone gathered for a Welcome Reception & Cocktail Party sponsored by some of our cruise partners.
Saturday Awards & Recognition Dinner
Saturday was filled with 15-minute business development meetings between advisors and supplier partners. These longer meetings allow more time to learn and grow relationships. To close the weekend, we had our Awards & Recognition Dinner, where we revealed the three destinations for the Devonian, 1887 Club, and Griffin trips, announced the advisors who qualified, and recognized the three winners of the Sales Support, Sterling, and Spirit of Brownell awards.
